Great addition to your classroom library!!
These books are a lot of fun and cleverly teach math concepts! I use them in my 5th grade classroom! The kids love them and are learning at the same time - a bonus!! If you are a teacher, I would encourage you to purchase this book!!!

Very Nice Books
I bought a few of these in the series for granddaughters to introduce them early to math and various terms. They are fun stories with a purpose. They really enjoy them. My hope is they will be more confident and comfortable when these concepts are introduced in school.

Love the series, this is one of my favorites
I use these books with my 3rd-grade class, towards the end of the year after they have heard me use several of the math terms. The kids love hearing the stories and giggle when they catch a pun. Although not a 3rd-grade standard, I use this book to introduce students to protractors for measure angles.

Best Book Series for Math!
This whole book series is absolutely amazing for teaching math to students. All of the books have great stories (this one about a boy who is on a quest to become a knight) which incorporate math vocabulary and concepts all throughout the book. My fifth graders loved when I read this book aloud to them and had a fun time identifying all of the math vocabulary in the text. This book is great to review math concepts or to introduce them and it is a great way to incorporate literacy into mathematics.

Sir Cumference is Great!
This is a great book. It has lots of mathematical elements while also being fun for middle school students. I, as a math teacher, enjoyed reading this book to my students. The math terms that tie the book together are very creative in the way they are presented. If you are reading this book to a class of middle school students, it will take from ten to fifteen minutes to read completely if the class is attentive. The math described in the book can help students to remember those terms later.

Fun book for the kids
Fun book for the kids, just not sure they get it. Most likely if I keep reading the book to them, they will understand once they start to learn these concepts in math.

Teacher's Dream
I found out about this book at a teachers' conference several years ago. I loaned out my copy and never saw it again. I bought two more copies for my third-grade classroom. This made teaching my unit in angles and lines a snap! Kids loved it and asked for the other adventures!
