Q: I've used bands in the past that had something to secure the band using a closed door to perform some exercises. Can that be done with these?

It would be more difficult. I have had the same experience with bands in the past, but these are much longer and some of them are very strong indeed. So strong that I would worry they would hurt the door. However, they are more versatile than bands I’ve used in the past and they pretty much replaced barbells and other devices I have. I like them.

Q: Do these bands easily snap?

So far I have no problem with them. I think they are very good! I have used all of them and have for about six months now and they are still going strong!

I don't know what the thickness is , but the bands are great, I use them all the time, they are great for resistance training and assistance as well
