Amazon Basics Room Darkening Blackout Curtain Rod - 88" to 120", Nickel

I’ve bought several of these and am quite pleased with them. I wanted our home to have a more uniformed look. These are sturdy and hold even some heavier curtains well without bending.

I bought a couple of the more expensive Umbra double rods. I found this cheaper Amazon brand to be more sturdy. My only complaint is Amazon sent me a used set. Mine were scratched.

Easy to install and not flimsy. Holds the curtains and helps block the sun by going around the frame ofvthecwindo.

I would give the product a five star review but the rod is not as easy to install as everybody says... especially for a large window or doorwall. You need to measure, mark, measure again, hope the anchor goes in properly, check one side, connect the pole temporarily so you can check everything with a level, and then do it all again on the other side. Be sure you know whether you are drilling into wood, drywall or something else because that will affect how the anchor is sunk. All in all I like the look and function of the rod and would probably buy this again.

Excellent construction and able to hold heavy weighted curtains. The rod is light-weight and the color is just as pictured.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I found these easy to hang because the instructions are so clear. The finish can get scratched if you are not careful. I relly like that my blackout curtains wrap around the curved edges so that very little light gets through.

I really like how this goes together and how close to the wall it lets the curtains hang. Might end up buying another for other rooms.

This curtain rod is very sturdy and easy to install.
