Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencil Set - Pack of 60

I had the much much cheaper Faber Castell watercolour pencils, but didn't really like them as they didn't completely dissolve on application of water and left stroke stains. These, Albrecht Durer pencils are just too good, and unlike their cheaper cousins, they are so amazing. Very high pigmentation, and beautifully dissolves at the touch of a wet brush! Colours are highly blendable and you can create amazing effects with combination of dry on wet and wet on dry techniques. Totally worth the money. The pencils are also unique in having high lightfastness, and lightfastness standards are mentioned for each shade. Also unlike other similar pencils the leads are strong for dry work and don't break, while still remaining butter smooth in their application. The 24 shades one is the enough to create a plethora of shades. If you are graduating from basic watercolour tubes, this is the next best step. Just go for it!

Best watercolour pencils in the market. Color on paper turns vibrant as soon as water is added. If you are beginner, I would suggest to try less expensive watercolour pencils first, as these are expensive and all pencil Watercolors have some limitations comparing to tubes or pan Watercolors.I actually ordered watercolour pans after these as I am not useto to pencils for watercolour. However, as of watercolour pencils no other brand could beat these pencils.also, I am struggling to find a suitable sharpener as regular sharpeners don’t work for these pencils.

Excellent pencils. Blends smoothly and very easy to give definition. If more pressure is given it may break unlike the polychromos but still good quality. Price is a bit high and individual colours are not available to buy so better to buy pencils that are available in market. check out my insta @avalondreamworks ♥️

Vibrant colours. Could be sharpened by a sharpener without breakage. Premium to look at. Packing box is bit flimsy. It's a deal if could be bought within ₹1,500/-.
