Q: can I use this on my 36v golf cart?

Yes and I have this light mounted on a riding mower and tractors and boat and RTV

Q: Max 9 /12" mounting holes? Wish it would have been listed, returning

yeah I had to use zip ties to attach to my side by side

Q: Is there a dash mount for the rocker switch?

Not sure about a dash mount but I drilled a hole just smaller than the rocker switch, the rocker switch has little wings that snap out when it’s pushed in the hole and hold the rocker switch in. Just be careful not to make the hope to big.

Q: Does the kit come with wiring instructions?

It only has black and red wires. Black negative red positive..
